health professionals who care for people in pain, and scientists
studying better ways of treating pain.
Canadian Pain Society: Canadian Pain Society is a chapter of the International Association for the Study of Pain and includes various groups, including physicians, scientists involved in the design of improved methods of pain management, education professionals and lay persons with an interest in the field of pain.
Neuropathic Pain Network: The Neuropathic Pain Network (NPN) is a coalition
of organizations that exists to actively support people with
neuropathic

them to better
cope with
their pain, to obtain the best treatment and, ultimately, to

Trigeminal Neuralgia Association: The mission of The Facial Pain Association (formerly the Trigeminal Neuralgia Association) is to serve as an advocate for patients living with neuropathic facial pain, including trigeminal neuralgia, by providing information, encouraging research and offering support.
Canadian Diabetes Association: CDA works in communities across the
country to promote the health of Canadians and eliminate diabetes
through a strong nationwide network of volunteers, employees,
healthcare professionals, researchers, partners and supporters.
National Spinal Cord Injury Association: NSCIA is America's oldest and
largest civilian organization dedicated to improving the quality of
life for hundreds of thousands of Americans living with the results of
spinal cord injury and disease (SCI/D) and their families. This number
grows by thirty newly-injured people each day.
The Canadian Paraplegic Association: CPA's mission is to assist persons with spinal cord injuries and
